Shaimaa Oleba Appointed as Business Development Advisor to the Chairman of Arab International Optronics (AIO)

An advisory cooperation with (AIO) specialized Egyptian optical and electro-optical technology company, supporting business development, local and international expansion, export marketing, and institutional market positioning for selected civil and defense-related products.

Shaimaa Oleba, Founder and Chairwoman of SOIC Infinity Solutions International, assumed the role of Business Development Advisor to the Chairman of Arab International Optronics – AIO, affiliated with the National Service Projects Organization – Ministry of Defense of Egypt.

Arab International Optronics – AIO is one of Egypt’s specialized industrial and technology companies in optical, electro-optical, and advanced imaging systems, operating across both civil and defense-related applications. The company’s capabilities cover surveillance solutions, vision systems, thermal imaging, night-vision systems, display systems, lighting solutions, solar energy applications, educational and medical solutions, and specialized optical systems serving security and defense-related requirements.

AIO’s industrial and technological journey is supported by a long-standing strategic partnership of more than four decades with Thales, reinforcing the company’s position in technology transfer, localization, and the development of advanced optical and electro-optical solutions in Egypt.

This cooperation comes as part of Oleba’s direction to support specialized industrial and technology-driven entities through business development, commercial and industrial opportunity building, local and international expansion, and export marketing, helping advanced Egyptian companies access new markets and strategic opportunities.

The advisory role focuses on supporting AIO’s market positioning as a specialized company in optical and electro-optical systems serving both civil and defense-related applications. It includes strengthening the company’s institutional and market value, enhancing communication with relevant entities, institutions, and companies, and opening cooperation channels that maximize the value of AIO’s industrial and technological capabilities.

The scope of work includes business and industrial opportunity development, assessing local and international expansion opportunities, supporting selected civil and defense-related product lines within applicable legal and regulatory frameworks, and contributing to institutional and commercial relationship building with government entities, organizations, companies, and projects that may benefit from AIO’s specialized solutions.
