An institutional recognition by the Chamber of Engineering Industries honoring Shaimaa Oleba’s contributions during the 2021–2025 board term, where she served as a ministerially appointed board member, supporting industry, SMEs, localization, and institutional development.

The Chamber of Engineering Industries at the Federation of Egyptian Industries honored Dr. Shaimaa Oleba, Board Member of the Chamber during the 2021–2025 term, in recognition of her efforts and contributions to serving Chamber members and supporting several industrial and development-related files during her board membership.

Dr. Oleba’s membership on the Chamber’s Board during this term came through a ministerial appointment, reflecting institutional confidence in her practical experience across industry, specialized contracting, business development, SME support, and engagement with the manufacturing community. With the conclusion of the term, Dr. Oleba did not enter the election race for the new 2025–2029 board term, marking a natural transition between stages of institutional work while maintaining her commitment to supporting industry and the private sector through other channels.

The recognition took place during the final meeting of the Chamber’s Board of Directors for the 2021–2025 term, where Dr. Oleba was awarded the Chamber’s Shield in appreciation of her active role within the engineering industries ecosystem and her contribution to addressing key issues facing companies and manufacturers.

During her board term, Dr. Oleba contributed to several important files related to SME support, informal-sector formalization and integration, company development, export readiness, local manufacturing deepening, industrial business environment improvement, and linking manufacturers’ needs with training, development, and institutional support pathways.

This recognition reflects a practical track of active institutional participation within the Chamber, not only through representation, but through hands-on contribution to initiatives and programs designed to serve Chamber members and strengthen the competitiveness and growth capacity of industrial companies.
