A landmark appointment strengthening Dr. Shaimaa Oleba’s role as a strategic bridge for industrial, trade, investment, localization, and technology-transfer cooperation between Egypt, China, and North Africa.
Dr. Shaimaa Oleba, Founder and Chairwoman of SOIC Infinity Solutions International, has been appointed Vice President of the Hunan General Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Egypt – North Africa (HNCCE), headquartered in Egypt.
This appointment represents an important institutional milestone and marks one of the first appointments of its kind in Egypt within a Chinese economic platform focused on strengthening cooperation between Egypt, China, and North Africa across industry, trade, investment, localization, technology transfer, and knowledge exchange.
Hunan Province is one of China’s important industrial and economic regions, with a strong industrial and commercial base and advanced capabilities across several sectors. With a membership exceeding 3,000 Chinese companies, the Chamber provides a strategic platform to promote investment, support industrial expansion, enhance trade exchange, and build cross-border partnerships between Chinese, Egyptian, and African companies.
Dr. Oleba’s appointment reflects recognition of her professional and institutional track record in industry, business development, export growth, industrial localization, international cooperation, and partnership building across private-sector and institutional platforms in Egypt and abroad.
Through this role, Dr. Oleba aims to support practical bridges between the Chinese business community and the Egyptian market by connecting Chinese companies with investment, manufacturing, and trade opportunities in Egypt, while also helping Egyptian companies access wider cooperation opportunities with China and North African markets.
The appointment also reinforces Egypt’s role as a strategic gateway to North Africa, creating new pathways for industrial partnerships, trade integration, technology transfer, export-oriented investment, and sustainable economic cooperation.
SOIC views this appointment as a natural extension of its mission to build international partnerships, support Egypt-China cooperation, maximize industrial localization opportunities, and create practical business channels connecting companies, manufacturers, investors, institutions, and markets.
Dr. Shaimaa Oleba’s appointment as Vice President of HNCCE represents a new step toward expanding Egyptian leadership within international economic cooperation platforms and strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional hub for trade, industry, and investment between China and Africa.
