An international recognition placing Dr. Shaimaa Oleba among Africa’s most promising young leaders, reflecting her growing impact in industry, economic development, African cooperation, export growth, and international partnerships.

Dr. Shaimaa Oleba, Board Member of the Chamber of Engineering Industries at the Federation of Egyptian Industries and Chairwoman of SOIC Infinity Solutions International, has been named among Choiseul 100 Africa 2025, a prestigious ranking issued by the French think tank Institut Choiseul for International Politics and Geoeconomics.

The ranking annually highlights 100 of Africa’s most promising young leaders who are shaping the continent’s future through leadership, innovation, economic contribution, and social impact.

This recognition represents an important milestone in Dr. Oleba’s professional and institutional journey. It is not only a personal achievement, but also an international acknowledgment of a leadership path that connects industry, business development, SME support, export growth, industrial localization, international partnerships, and active engagement within economic and institutional platforms.

Her selection reflects Egypt’s growing presence within Africa’s economic and development landscape, at a time when the continent is becoming one of the world’s most important growth frontiers, with expanding markets, strategic resources, infrastructure needs, industrial opportunities, and increasing momentum toward trade and investment integration.

Dr. Oleba’s profile combines knowledge with execution. She serves as Chairwoman of SOIC, Board Member of the Chamber of Engineering Industries at the Federation of Egyptian Industries, and an active member of several industrial and economic committees, including committees focused on Arab and African cooperation, SMEs, standards and quality, tax and customs, informal-sector formalization, and local manufacturing deepening.

This recognition also highlights the African dimension of her work, particularly her focus on economic integration, Arab-African cooperation, export development, technology transfer, industrial localization, and building partnerships that can transform Egypt-Africa relations into practical opportunities across industry, trade, investment, training, and infrastructure.

The achievement comes alongside her academic milestone of earning a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies and Scientific Research, through a thesis examining the impact of international economic blocs on global economic growth and its implications for Egyptian national security. This reflects a strategic vision that connects economy, industry, national security, international relations, and regional and continental blocs.

Her inclusion in Choiseul 100 Africa 2025 confirms that the new generation of African economic leadership is not defined only by formal positions, but by the ability to build bridges between markets, transform knowledge into initiatives and policy thinking, connect the private sector with development, and create cross-border industrial and commercial cooperation.

SOIC is proud of this recognition as a reflection of its mission to support industry, export development, localization, international partnerships, and African expansion. It also represents an important step in strengthening the role of young Egyptian leaders in shaping the future of economic cooperation across the continent.

Dr. Shaimaa Oleba’s selection among Choiseul 100 Africa 2025 presents a model of Egyptian women’s leadership that combines strategic thinking, practical execution, national commitment, and an African outlook — positioning her for wider roles in supporting economic integration, industrial development, and continental partnerships in the coming phase.
