An institutional appointment reflecting a career that connects industry, applied research, innovation, entrepreneurship, university-industry linkage, and community development.

Dr. Shaimaa Oleba, Founder and Chairwoman of SOIC Infinity Solutions International, has been appointed as a Board Member at Benha National University for Research, Development, Innovation and Emerging Sciences, in a step that reflects the growing importance of integrating industrial, economic, and entrepreneurial experience into higher education, research, and innovation ecosystems.
This appointment comes at a time when universities are no longer viewed only as educational institutions, but as platforms for knowledge production, applied research, innovation, entrepreneurship, talent development, and the transformation of emerging sciences into practical economic and social value.
Research, development, innovation, and emerging sciences have become key pillars of future economies, especially in light of global transformations in artificial intelligence, energy, advanced industry, technology, sustainability, supply chains, and digital transformation. This makes it increasingly important to include leaders who combine academic awareness with real market and industrial experience in boards and institutions supporting education and research.
Dr. Oleba’s selection reflects a professional and institutional journey that combines hands-on experience in industry, specialized contracting, export development, and business development with active engagement in industrial and economic committees, in addition to her work in capacity building, youth empowerment, startup support, women’s empowerment, and linking education with market needs.
Through this role, Dr. Oleba can contribute to strengthening the university’s direction toward effective partnerships with industry, the private sector, and development institutions, while helping transform research and innovation into practical value that serves the economy and society.
The role also provides an opportunity to support university-industry collaboration through technology transfer, applied training, entrepreneurship programs, innovation projects, business incubators, and graduation projects connected to real market and industrial challenges.
SOIC believes that meaningful community development begins with human capacity building and with linking knowledge to application. In this context, Dr. Oleba’s appointment represents a natural extension of her mission to transform practical experience, institutional networks, and economic relationships into tangible knowledge and development impact serving youth, industry, innovation, and the labor market.
This appointment marks a new milestone in a leadership journey focused on building bridges between education and industry, research and application, innovation and development — supporting the role of national universities as key drivers in preparing future generations capable of competing, producing, and leading in the economy of tomorrow.
